The SafeStream Wireless N Gigabit Broadband VPN Router from TP-Link is a wireless VPN router equipped with one Gigabit WAN port, three Gigabit LAN ports, and one Gigabit WAN/LAN port. Along with wired Gigabit connectivity, this router also supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking standards along with TCP/IP, DHCP, ICMP, NAT, PPPoE, SNTP, HTTP, DNS, IPsec, PPTP, L2TP protocols.
The SafeStream VPN Router features enhanced hardware providing a solid backbone to your network. With 8MB of flash memory and 64MB of DDRII RAM data flows through this router quickly and efficiently. The fanless design ensures this router will remain quiet even under the most demanding workloads. Also found on the outside of the router is a pair of detachable antennas for enhanced wireless connectivity reaching areas traditional routers cannot reach.
This router functions on the 2.4-2.4835GHz frequencies with an EIRP rating of <20dBm further enhancing the wireless signal strength. You can also take advantage of enhanced wireless WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK wireless encryption standards and guest network configuration capabilities.
