In addition to upscaling to near-4K, it will also play back 3D Blu-ray discs and 1080p via HDMI. The HDMI output also supports high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Bitstream, and more. The player is compatible with BD Profile 5.0.
The BD-J7500 has Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port built in for app access. Additional wireless connectivity includes SHAPE and DLNA. Its wired connections include HDMI output, an optical audio output, 7.1 analog audio out, and a USB 2.0 port. It includes a remote control.
