Comprised of everything needed to begin shooting, the Sony Alpha a7 II Mirrorless Digital Camera with 28-70mm Lens Deluxe Kit from B&H includes the versatile full-frame camera along with a standard zoom lens, 32GB SDHC memory card, a spare rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and an external battery charger.
The a7 II features a full-frame 24.3MP CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor to enable high-resolution stills shooting up to 5 fps, full HD 1080p video recording in the high-bit-rate XAVC S format at up to 60 fps, and sensitivity to ISO 25600 for working in difficult lighting conditions. Sensor-shift type 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization compensates for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake with any mounted lens and a Fast Hybrid AF system employs 117 phase-detection points and 25 contrast-detection areas to provide quick and accurate focusing performance. The a7 II is also characterized by its compact form factor and durable, weather-resistant design that features a tilting 3.0" 1,228.8k-dot LCD monitor, 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder, and built-in Wi-Fi with NFC.
Included with the camera body is the FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS E-mount lens. This wide-to-portrait zoom incorporates three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element into its design to minimize chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range and enhance overall image sharpness and clarity. An optical SteadyShot image stabilization system has also been added to reduce the appearance of camera shake to suit working in dim lighting and with low shutter speeds, and this stabilization system will work in conjunction with the in-body image stabilization.
